I can't believe you made it to 7,820 ft. I've pushed my mountain bike up where you were riding. Now I'm gonna have to by a newer 250. I've been wanting to anyways. You are the first single tire tracks up there this year, that's for sure. Trying to work my way around Tommy Creek up to Mad Lakes, but the 250's suspension won't be able to take the rock garden just after you enter the Alpine from the Entiat side. I've enjoyed reading about your many forays into our world. sorry you had to drive all the way home for food after Playing around up Miller Peak and such. Stores usually close by 9 pm around here and it sounds like Cle Elum was a bust for food that late too. Hope to see you up the Entiat Peaks. Gonna ride around Pot Peak today and play on the black diamond trail just a little with the 650.

Whoa! Now that is a ride report. Holy smokes. You made me pucker a couple times just sitting in front of the computer. Nice job!

Notice the "Angels Staircase" in the background (just above the helmet) picture? The switchbacks are barely visible. It is a bucket list ride of mine... . It was a motorized trail many years ago!TONY

You are either incredibly gifted, have a very understanding wife or have cajones the size of soccer balls. I've been to the exact spot you were camped enough to know that was a crazy ass ride in the dark or any time. Enjoy it now as the future will change with baby. Did you ride alone up there? AWESOME. I'm assuming you carry some sneakers as part of your emergency gear? Wait, you have the "luck o' the irish" on your side. Keep it up. Gonna try for Klone Peak tonight if I get my work finished for the day. Did ya see all of us crazy bowhunters this weekend? I hope everyone behaved themselves. I've always bowhunted, but a lot of the guys I meet bowhunt as they can't carry guns anymore, if ya know what I mean. Was the trail clear of trees? Sorry if you get 2 posts, BTW. My laptop burped during reply submission.
