Nice to see they're finally showing up in the states. Shouldn't be long until it arrives in Ohio, no? Chomping at the bit to pick it up

Going on a Diet
So I'm trying to lose weight right now, and expect the same of my vehicle. I've got a CRF230L now and the power-to-weight ratio makes it more of an adventure mule than a sporty toy.
Without going back and reading the 50+ pages, have we figured out where to save weight on the CRF250? Is the engine cradle and subframe steel? How light can we go without sacrifice? Lastly, is the engine a quick revver along the lines of the 450R (as I have one, the only thing I have to compare to)? RZ Rob |

Local dealer got one in today, quoted out the door:
$5103.24 This includes tax/title/tags and any other mystery fees here in Central, NC. What are other folks seeing state-side?

Just picked mine up yesterday. $4495.00 OTD Cash. Shawnee Honda. That's in Oklahoma. They got in 5. So far......I like it! Sold a TW200 that was perfect too. For what I want to use it for this fits me.

Correct,Big Canoe. We pay the tax when we buy the Tag. But wasn't stuck with Dealer Prep. Just MSRP.

My dealer just called - my CRFL arrived yesterday just before closing. I'll pick it up today at 4pm and go for my first ride around 6pm today. Can't wait. Like a kid at Christmas.

Congrats! Have fun. I'm off to Prague....not that one. Here in OK. Break in miles....300 the book says. Then Oil change and off to no telling where. Yes, I'm an Old Retired guy. Last Summer 1000Miles of the TAT on the TW200. Before that Copper Canyon Twice on my KLR. And so many places still on the R1150R. It's True, the older I get, the smaller my Bikes are. Minimalist Touring for me!

When you consider that if you finance it it will only cost me $150/month, I didn't really care about the $300 fee was more concerned about getting the first one ASAP. Honda's finance rate is 2.99% which is pretty darn good. I've got the cash but would rather keep it for other things.
