Be VERY careful of these, very few have the proper paperwork to back them up. If you get one with no paperwork, not even a MSO getting it registered in most states is damn near impossible.

Fewer than 25 or so are actually registered for street use out of the 200 or so out there (for the 200 model year, there were more in '99).

If you're genuinely interested, I am half considering either selling mine, or putting it in my living room. It's only got a couple hundred miles on it.

Working on setting up a patterning for one. We're getting there slowly. We need bikes to pattern. Ideally, we'll be patterning all of the BMW bikes this year. We just need to get samples to do it.

I need to throw out a Kudos to IMS. We contacted IMS concerning the possibility of a loaner 10 gallon tank for the KLR series to pattern. They did us one better. They gave us a tank to pattern and use as a display. It's a second but that's okay.

The folks at IMS are top notch and really went the extra mile for us at TankVest.com. They have our thanks!

On another note... Here's the IMS tank on a stand we threw together with a KLR 650 Gen 2 vest on it...

I looked through the thread, and also your web site, but didn't see a R1100GS on there. Maybe not surprising, but I was still curious if you had one yet for my bike. Thanks!

We had someone with one of these bikes and we had arranged to pattern the bike and then he just disappeared. We're looking for another bike now for that.
