Hello I have had mine in thailand for 3 months now top speed 5th gear 130 km/r gps 121 and 6th gear seen 140 on the clock which is around 130 gps Few things to watch for dropped mine on the radiator side this then moved the radiator to come in contact with the fan which then caused the rotating fan to put hole in radiator really do need a rad brace for these bikes but dont seem available yet Also i seemed to have tigtened the plastic lid on the expansion tank to much and it split the top of the lid off there seems to be no lip on the expansion tank so its a bit easy to over tighten itapart from them little problems love the bike 2500 km done so far Hopefully now the bike has made it to us and europe we should see more aftermarket parts come available. Oh and on you tube there is a thai guy getting his to 163 km/r says he has just changed sprokets id would say his speedo is now reading completely wrong and its no where near the indicated speedo reading taninthai screwed with this post 08-17-2012 at 02:58 AM |

I like it that Honda take many Parts out of the big box .
I need a new Helmet lock for my XR 250 Part No. 50710-KCZ-J71 Price from a australia Website 36,70 AUD Plus shipping &Tax . Now i get a Helmet lock for the CRF 250L today Part No. 50710-KCZ -J71 from the local Honda dealer here in Thailand Price 600 Baht thats half the Price , no shipping or Tax . Rims , Breaks and some other Parts looks like they will fit both bikes . Just order the steering stem and Top brige for the CRF 250 L for 2790 Bath thats 84 AUD compare to 667 AUD in Australia . I like that Bike even i maybe never buy one . It reduse my Spare part costs a lot .

61KZZ00 -- 2013 CRF250L Service Manual 31KZZA00 -- 2013 CRF250L Owner's Manual Order on-line: http://www.helminc.com Order Toll Free: 1-888-292-5393 (Credit Card Orders Only) Mon-Fri 8am - 6pm EST ---------------------------------------- I looked on Helm's web site and neither of these manuals are listed. I have ordered manuals from Helm for years, and I know that they often don't show new model-year manuals right away on their web site. So I called the number I usually call when looking for new manuals: 1-800-782-4356. The lady said they did not have the Owner's Manual yet, but the Service Manual was available for $49.95 + $6 S&H. I was quick to order the Service Manual and she said it would be 7-10 days, but in my experience, it will be more like 5 business days. I also asked her to check for the CRF250L Parts Catalog, and she said it was not available yet. The Owner's Manual may also be available electronically on the HRCA web site, but it's not updated to accept 2013 models when you sign up. C'mon Honda, get it together. I would be willing to scan a few pages of the Owner's Manual and post them, but not so many as to violate copyright. Fair use rules allow a few pages to be copied. The Service Manual will be much more useful. It has a Maintenance chapter that includes everything shown in the Owner's Manual and more. RED1 kindly posted a bunch of pages from this very chapter: http://advrider.com/forums/showthrea...740737&page=46 | ramz screwed with this post 08-17-2012 at 05:47 PM |

My bike came in today (two days late) and I'll be picking it up tomorrow morning. Can't wait! Will take some pics this weekend. fwiw I'm a total beginner on dirt (not a beginning rider though, been riding street for ten years including track riding) so my ride report will be worth a little but not as much as an experienced dirt rider.

WA dealer got one
Was touring the WA coast and riding the legal beach parts on my 230L the past 2 days. I stopped at South Sound Honda and sat on the new CRF250L. Nice, nicely done. Feels big, especially after finishing 225 miles in 2 days on my 230L. The big-framed 250L feels like it needs a 450 motor. Still however am a fan of the little 230L in tight mountain singletrack riding. But definitely that CRF250L would have been nicer for the touring and beach sand riding that I did.

i wonder how this bike compares to my first ever real bike, a 1984 honda xl125s.... best bike ive ever owend, i got it in 2002, with 300 miles on the clock. it was still brand new, the original owner, had it sealed inside a shipping container. and had done all the preventive stuff to it. it was basicaly like buying a brand new 1984 honda xl125 s in 2002. i loved that bike.
