Didn't you see he got fired a few years ago? He was running Seti@Home on computers at work (for the state he lives in) and they canned him for mis-use of government resources.

There are still the email spin-offs; CODoD, NEDoD, WetLeather, etc. going fairly strong.

Wow. Guess I missed all the drama. Been on Wetleather for, dunno, 16-18 years, but never manage to get fully caught up. Last looked at rec.moto about that far back. It's just not the same without having to sneak into a computer lab to look at Usenet on a dumb terminal.

Proof that the sum of all parts doens't always equal the total.

Dig your top box, I actually have the same box in my garage for that exact purpose, haven't gotten around to it though.

It works well...I replaced the plastic base piece on the bike with aluminum plate welded to each side. Mounted the box, very sturdy.

All kidding aside, the bike has 56,000 miles on it, an '06 model, and just rode from Cullman, Al. to Indianapolis and back for the MotoGP., 880 miles round trip....less than 1/2 quart of oil.

Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled programming....not gonna jack this into a "pro-KLR" thread..
