It's true. I see a Victory on the road almost every two weeks.

Yea, it's the same ol' shit. Anniversary years are almost always about colors and CVO bikes. When they make changes to mechanical stuff it's usually in non-anniversary years.

That being said, I'd still gladly have this:

Or this (with mid controls):

I sure do miss my 'Bones.

Silly little small minded man... 2014 is actually going to have some changes that should have you sitting up in your chair in your Mom's basement.

Harley Davidson continues to grow it's market share and you and all the other sniveling bitches keep going on about change. Change to what exactly? Something that shrinks their market share. Yup... THAT MAKES SENSE!

I sharted in a pair of black boxer briefs once and it looked remarkably similar to the 110th anniversary electra glide.

That said, I still want a standard road king.

I sure do miss my 'Bones.
Every now and then I get this urge to try a new "primary" motorbike. Then I ride my crossbones and the urge passes. After 4.5 years it still makes me grin like crazy when I go for a ride. Thanks for the reminder, I am stopping at the local HD shop and I don't want to do something I would regret later.

Love it. But you're just scratching the surface of extinct brands! I have an Encyclopedia of Historical Motorcycles (or something like that) reference book and there are probably well over 300 extinct British brands. Let alone American, Italian, German, etc.

Crazy. I spent just a few seconds looking up defunct brands and found so much more than I thought. I started with ones I could think off the top of my head....and added to them.

There's been so many brands that went belly up it's a tribute to any and all existing motorcycle companies. Everyone likes to bitch, but there's a hundred dead companies that failed for every one that survived.

Yet H-D sold 85,714 motorcycles during the 2nd quarter of 2012. Guess their formula is working ok.

Yeah, nearly a thousand bikes a day isn't shabby. But...but...think how many MORE they could sell if they listened to all of us! They might sell 85,715 bikes in a quarter.

Don't like em? don't buy em!
I'm all for teasing harley riders, but come on. They build classic style/design bikes, and do very well for themselves. Don't need to start a thread just to bash em.

H-D does come up with some nice paint schemes for the most part. But i'll stick with my 76 Super Glide.
I'd have a Road King now, but got a much better deal on a Cross Roads.
