590A1 20" barrel / 8+1

SuperNova 24" barrel / 4+1

I don't care to make any modifications to either of them, maybe a extension magazine to the SuperNova if I go in that direction.
Might want to resize that Supernova pic.

In any case, what are you wanting to do with it? The 590A1 is on the other side of the spectrum from that 24" Supernova.

SuperNova or 590A1 !!
I find it amusing on gun threads or forums where a guy will say "I want either a __________ or a ___________. What do you suggest?" Fill in the blanks however you like, in your case the SN or the 590A1. Invariably they get suggestions for different guns! I guess we are just a bunch of opinionated guys.

In any case......I have a SuperNova like the one you showed in the pic. I believe it has a longer barrel than 24", however, am thinking it's a 26 or 28", but be that as it may, I find it a great gun. I bought mine primarily for turkey hunting, have a 3" 12 gauge that I use for waterfowl, but wanted to be able to shoot the big 3.5" roman candle shells, and the SuperNova does that quite well. My daughter-in-law did a great job of busting clays with it one day. Great all around gun, albeit kinda ugly.

That would work but it puts the cheek weld a little too low for me. This configuration lets me use the Aimpoint with the standard front sight and a Troy fixed rear while maintaining the stock cheek weld.

Anybody have the Nikon P-223 3-9?
My rear flip up Diamondhead just isn't cutting it for 100 yard plus groups.

Had my hands on one a couple hours ago. Didn't shoot it, but was encouraged to buy it by the shop owner
SUPER light. Stainless cylinder w/ lots of sculpting to remove weight. Besides the cylinder, no exposed metal, all was plastic. Metal barrel insert. The plastic was decent, had a little molding flash. I didn't dry fire it, so i can't speak about the trigger. But the cylinder release was very smooth and the lockup solid.
I wasn't in the market for a revolver, I also thought it was overpriced, $429. Did bring home a SR22 though Report on that this weekend maybe.

That the new "cheaper" version of the M(?)-223? Saw that recently

Use it on the .22's the AR and the Soc 16 works great, not the best battery life but I haven't run it down yet.
Found out about Mueller from the Shotgun Forum, they've been using them on 10 Gauge Turkey guns with no issues.

Good stuff, great price.

Yup, nice scope, I have one for the AR. I've given it a beating or two, still holds zero, the clarity is good.
Mine has the Mil dot reticle.

I've not fired one, but have checked them out. I think they're pretty nice. My only beef with the design is that there is no option for SA fire, the gun is a DAO. I think that's fine for a 38/357 personal defense style gun, but I personally want a .22 to have an SA option. If I were going to buy the gun for strictly CCW/defensive purposes, that'd be okay, but that's not my view of the purpose of a .22. I think of it more as a plinker, target, or woods-carry kit gun.

Your comment addressed my question. I was about to ask if it was DAO, because I know that the LCR in .38 is DAO. I agree with you about being able to pull the hammer back and plink.

I'm hoping that RUGER will make the LCP in .22.
