Hi guys
I am 1000miles away, 2 airplane rides and 5 days away just got a message from my Mrs Hay Ewe that our Disco 2a 2003 TD5 has a fuel leak from the underside. She says its not from the bottom of the filter (thats happened before - carry a spare plug / cap) Any clues? thats all I have to go on at the moment. thanks Hay Ewe

She says that its not leaking from the bottom of the filter but in the middle. Are there any pipes that go over the top of the tank? (cos I am away I cant see / look at my work shop guide) what about pipe connections to the fuel pump? thanks Hay Ewe

Biltmore Land Rover Experience driving event
Made it to the Biltmore in North Carolina for an owners driving experience event. Only 6 vehicles participated so we had plenty of one on one time with the Land Rover crew and it was a great event even for my somewhat "not as off road capable" LR2. Made it all the way thru the course but taking different lines than the LR3's and LR4's to account for the limited ground clearance. Came out very impressed as to how much the little LR2 will take on. General Grabbers AT2's tires did great also. Good day, great fun!

New range Rover spotted being tested.
Out for a ride today and we pulled in for a coffee next to this new Range Rover.
![]() Got talking to the driver (he said he works for Jaguar Land Rover). This one is the 3.0 V6 Diesel 8 speed auto. he's doing mileage test on it and so far he's getting 37mpg average. The 5.0V8 Supercharged one they were also testing pulled away before I got the camera out, but the driver floored it and it sounded incredible. The chap said they are working on a 2.0 V6 Petrol which is good for 30mpg. He said it's very nice and plenty powerful enough and should be available soon after the launch of the new model, probably Jan/Feb. Interestingly, this one had notes written all over it in sharpie. ![]() ![]() Click on the pics for a few more.

0% chance that's in US... front plate gives it away.
Mancunia... aren't people from Manchester called Mancunians or somesuch? And I love everything about the new RR except for the gills on the forward doors. Sigh. It'd look so much cleaner without those.
