Yeah, its an air cooled one off, two oil pumps and it's carbs came from a Porsch.
I'm still thinking about swapping in a diesel, but the new diesel models are starting to come over from Europe, so the appeal is going away with the possibility of getting a diesel model for about 5-7k more then I've got into this one. Parts aren't so bad, wear items like plugs, wires and filters all have a parts conversion to a common US vehicle, and the expensive parts are available, but yes, they can be expensive. Fortunately they built this thing for your average 18 year old army kid that doesn't like maintenence and drives like a maniac, so normal driving and maintenence means you don't have to worry too much about the expensive stuff going belly up.

Yes, they made a 150 and 350 version the 350 was a 4 door 8 foot bed truck chassis that they chopped the frame right in the middle of the front spring hanger for the rear leaves, then chopped the back of the cab out and fitted bronco sheet metal.

It's a Unimog? They've always been street legal.

Looks like someone did a body swap on a later model K20 rolling chassis.

Not all are DOT Legal. The 25 year rule still applies. According to what I've read it's a brand new U1300.

Nice.
That's either a '41 or a '46. Almost no production in between because of the war. Looks like he's got theft protection inside.
