It'll need a little soldering but would work and get you the extra amps...

New to me.
Well here is my new to me '01 Dakar on our first out of the city ride. Had a great time up Guardsman pass. Cool and a little rainy but a great ride.



Here we are at the bottom of Big Cottonwood canyon.





Up top it was a little cloudy.

Fun ride.

Kev has the leftovers of my XRR's....don't recall that the stator was in there....the BRP's are long gone from my garage....

so, what did YOU do today? Here's what Warp9man and I did:
Asphalt to Monte Cristo, dirt to Garden City, fill up the tummy and the tank, dirt to Hardware Ranch, asphalt to Avon, dirt to Liberty, and then asphalt home again.





Food, friends, and fuel......that's what a dual-sport day is all about.

XR on mend
my issue was a bad rectifier... I swapped out A1's and that's what it is.

Really common. Just takes a millisecond of a short circuit. Check all the wires for any bad insulation, breaks.

What I like about doing business w/Kev is that he fed me the beer in advance! I had to do very little, he did most of the work anyway
