The mud run would be amazing tomorrow! Just putting that out there. I'll be free after going to the gym and finishing the mammoth swing set out back. I'll take the GS to practice for Spartanburg in three weeks!

Regarding the sticker, what about something simple sort of like MOB suggested like a muddy TKC knobby tire with RVA in the center dripping mud!

Your time frame is sketchy Eddy...narrow it down will ya I'm IN with the 530....I gotta wear down the knobs for a fresh set...

Sticker: I kind of like the muddy TKC with just "804"...you could always cross the fork and knife behind the TKC, kind of like a skull and crossbones for a little humor.

Very true, but just like the Cat Herders include the entire valley, SMIB include all of southern Maryland, etc... I feel that we should include all of the 804. I bet that 95% of the Richond thread lives outside of the actual Richmond city limits.

Thats why they call it an AREA code. Most of us do live in that area. Im not sure who officially lives in Richmond. Somantics I guess. My vote would be a simple logo.

Sadly, I am out on riding today. That humongous swing set had enough (cheap!) nuts, bolts and washers to fill a small bucket! It's still not done and my dad just called needing some help moving stuff around the garage.

BWDR is after the S500...I'm not riding today...yet...I went to Basilis, my favorite greek place on Cary st. Now stuffed to the gils I'm sitting @fountain lake with a "blackeye" coffee from lamplighter roasting Co.

That still leaves us without a (formal) name/catch-phrase.

I still like something based on this theme with it being a little more abstract. The Poe caricature certainly centers this immediate group around the general Richmond Area..... and I think that was the original intent.... which is not to say all are not welcome. I think to specify a broad Area Code such as 804 opens it up well beyond what "we" were trying to portray. Obviously, ALL are welcome to join this merry band.

The MOB tire, to me, is too sanitary, i.e., boring..... even filled in and/or with a bunch of mud dripping off of it. To me, the "mud" implies a limited audience of off-roaders, which all of "us" are not; ADV is much more than that.

Again, those are my thoughts and I won't be providing any more commentary on the finalized logo. Ya'll do what ya are gonna do. Personally, I'm just gonna hook up for a Friday lunch meet with whomever shows up.
