finally made it to NY, but not too far off schedule, I was originally planning to get here around noonish, and got here at 7, so even with the lung transplant, I'm only 7 hours late.
Of course Im always late, so my noonish would in actuality have been more like 3 or 4 pm.

Wow! I'm early, by Doug standards!

I did have to dick around with the bike this morning, while stopped at a light, the bike died, no compression on the front cylinder
luckily, it was only a piece of carbon stuck on the valve face, just had to pull the head & clean it off.

I was back on the road so fast, it barely classifies as a breakdown!

in small aircraft it is called straking a valve,air applied into the cylinder while giving the valve spring a rap from a mallet , in hopes the offending material will dislodge and the compression-bleeddown pressure, will rise to a acceptable level-ratio.
