What the hell is his GoPro pointing at? I'll bet that's some exciting video.

Ha! Love it. When the props come after me (raked on the ground, punch to the ribs in the ruck, etc) I like to grin at em. They're just letting me know that I'm having the desired effect on their team. Get em good and chippy, they make mistakes.

I play at Flank, 8, or Lock. And when I'm bound loose, you better believe I will cheap shot the flyhalf. After about two (perhaps slightly late) hits on the fly, he's not looking at the scrummie's pass anymore. Makes for a lot of dropped balls after that. Also fun to go in and set up for the hit and then change course and pick the ball when he tries to offload without looking.

THERE IS NO CENTER LINE AT THAT POINT DUE TO AN ACCESS ROAD COMING IN FROM THE SIDE. You can't see a center line because there isn't one. In the 2nd pic the START of the line can be seen about a foot behind the rear tire of the red bike, in its shadow. The red bike is very close to the line but the tires are not over it.

Ah man. My armchair quarterbacking skills are getting as rusty as my reading comprehension.

That curve is also somewhat deceptive due to the road that branches off in the middle of that curve. I'm sure there have been numerous crashes at that curve, I've seen at least one. The photographer was risking his life set up on the outside of that curve. But then, other photographers also set up on the outside of curves. I'm surprised non have them been taken out by crashing bikes or even cars.

These guys are right in the potential crash zone:

This is not the curve where this head on occurred. The curve pictured here is known as "Mud." The curve where that accident occurred is known as "Rocket Corner" on the Tail of the Dragon map and "Calderwood Corner" on the DGMR map.

Yes, that is correct. I just posted that pic to show that photographers are often set up right in a potential crash zone-right on the outside of a curve. I don't have a pic of the curve where the collision occurred. Trashcan did post a pic of that curve.

Very lucky to end up under that brolly, what are the chances of that?
