+1 to the Tiger Love shout out. Just fitted humongous HT cans to mine. Ugly? Who cares.

Probably my only real complaint on this bike.
Other than learning the hard way to sport a juicier battery &
better lights would be a def improvement.
Still a kick ass bike. IMHO.
On the current Tiger Ohlins are a factory option ( I got em) and its freakin night and day from the OEM.......Makes the bike soooo much more capable.
I also switched to the lighter and much much more powerfull Shorai Lithion Iron battery........Best battery out there for the Tiger.

08 orange tiger here, just love the thing, not bad on gravel either. Wish there was more tire choices out there and more skid plate options. 50 plus mpg and plenty of power. Mileage is the main reason I didnt buy ktm, and I love ktm. But at least the tiger has the ktm color so it fits with the rest of my bikes.

Greetings DP and DP admirers...first time post to this thread, but subbed for a long time.

+1 on the Tiger 800XC...I've had mine a year...a mix of day trips on forest service roads and twisties in N.Ga, TN and W.NC. as well as a couple weekend jaunts around the SE. If I could only have one bike, this would be it...fortunately that's not the case...

I think BMW, KTM and Triumph have nailed it in terms of mid-weight, do-all bikes, but of the lot, the most balanced is the Tiger...and ya gotta love the motor!

Cheers,
