I don't imagine parts for a Yamaha TTR 125 engine would be tough to find. And I can't imagine Scorpa chassis parts are all that scarce. Ryan Young's the importer I think. I like the simplicity of the machine: air cooled, no premix, 2 valves and one cam, easy pug access, no suspension linkage. And from what I've read even the 125 will haul a large person around just fine, especially the sort of terrain that I imagine myself riding. The 175 even better and the 200 - no problem. So that's what I'm looking for. Not many of them out there though.

2011 Beta 290 EVO Like New $5200.00
Do you ship? I am in Caldwell Idaho (close to Boise) and there are not any trials bikes for sale here. It is looking like getting my own shipping will cost way more than the $200 shipping I see some dealers advertise.

Wow I thought I got you in the right path for shipping. I just sent a sherco from alb to witchita for 163. I even showed you real quotes from alb to boise. That Beta is too sweet to pass up for a first bike!

You did give me the link to cheap shipping ($183 estimate). I just need to make sure Trev can crate it and the owner can get it to Trev. Seeing the Montesa in SLC for $2750 has me tempted.

From famine to feast. If one of these do not work out in the next day or two I'll get one of yours. I am lucky in the variety of terrain available to ride here. But.....kind of isolated as this will be the fourth bike I have had to get from out of state.

Did not mean to threadjack......

Thanks for all the help. Things have worked out for the 2002 Beta 270 (in the trials flea market). The bike will go to Trevor (Trialdog Motorsports) for crating and a quick look over and will be shipped by freighcenter.com for $183.
Trevor was actually in Boise this week and I could have met him but I was out riding. Can't wait to get my first trials bike.

Hi all. this is my first post related to trials bike. It seems like I have cought the trials bug, and need to scratch this itch.

I have found a local 2010 GG 280 for sale with low hours. What is a fair dollar value for these bikes, and was 2010 an ok year for these bikes?

Thanks in advance for any input.

It's a great bike. I have a '10 pro 280 for sale @ $4K right now.
If it's an econo model, I have no idea what it is worth.

I know they had the economy, the pro and I believe the race. Race has top shelf suspension and some other goodies.
They also sell a few Ragas every year which are very nice and pricey!

It is about as hard to understand as H-D!
