Anemia After Knee Replacement

8 weeks ago I underwent successful total knee replacement. I took my KTM 990 ADV out once when I had a post-op spurt of energy. But ever since I've been so tired that I haven't had the hunger to ride. For me that's like Sophia Vergara not having the hunger to......well you get the point.

I've been back to work at the office now for three weeks, gassed when I get home at night and on weekends.

My surgeon said it wasn't normal, call my GP. My GP told me today I am anemic, my blood/oxygen level is down by 1/3d.

I gotta give another blood sample this weekend to compare to baseline, but nurse said start eating iron-rich foods and take a daily iron pilll.

Seems like good news to me, at least I know what's wrong and it should be easily corrected. But I hope I get my zing back before the riding season is done.
