Shop here in West won't close, it's mine, so if you need something, holler. It's mostly a fab shop, but two mills, a 14" lathe, die grinder with lot's of air, and other stuff. biggest problem would be specialized tools or tooling. Lights can stay on all night for any of these guys. I'll even buy the beer

If somebody knows Doug and wants to PM me I will shoot you a cell phone number. Shop can get handy on a late night up here, will be below freezing almost every night now, 17 a couple of moenings ago.

Was wondering how those new cylinders would be like. Good to know what kind of work it takes to make them fit but sorry to hear you have to perform such feats wile on the road like that Doug. But knowing you Doug I'm sure your still having some sort of fun on this trip!

Doug's on the move. Does anyone know if he's under his own power or still on the trailer? Last I heard from Doug he still had issues with the rear jug.

It looks a lot of highways to me, long distances between the dots as well. I know I would have good use of some zzzs after an allnighter out in the cold.

I could see doing the Cannonball but no way would I consider the Dakar.

...just thinking here...every mile on the truck is a mile farther from Alabama and he was planning to ride that ol '28 home from San Fran unsupported.....

Kinda looks like he's on I-90 and I doubt that's the route. Well maybe he can catch some ZZZZ if he's in a truck after working all night.

I sure hope they have "Indian" tools. I was there last month and they wouldn't change the tire on my DR650. Apparently they didn't have any metric air available.

It didn't even help that I was wearing your Magadan T-shirt (I met you at the cycle show in Minneapolis this spring).

Everything must be OK. Doug left the HD dealer who is putting on the lunch

and went to Mc Donalds,

then to a truck stop probably for oil or fuel.
