Only negative I've heard is the 176c's screen is harder to read than the 176's.

They do not autoroute.
Use expensive Garmin memory that is limited in capacity. Otherwise fine and durable. I still have a 176(grayscale screen)thats in great condition if anyone is interested. JR356 |

Auto route? I am just as new to all this as anyone. Can I make a custom route in Google Earth and import that into the 176?

I just saw one of these locally at yard sale marked 150$. It came with a blue chart card of Lake Huron. I got the guys number, so I could get ahold of him later if I decided it would be useful. To the GPS guru's, I am kind of looking for something that will be a little better than an Etrex and have a steady power supply (the Etrex's usb power is kind of iff). What is something like this worth nowadays? 150 seems like too much. I would need to get a converter cable to get to USB. Should I just pass?
