Sorry if these have been previously posted. Some special colour schemes that have been done in the UK.

GIVI E-41's on the TEX
![]() Just received my GIVI quick release mounts. They installed extremely easy, and with the quick release feature they come off easily as well. The mounting points look like they belong on the bike, so all in all a clean look. Not sure how I feel about the look of the GIVI's on the TEX, but I like being able to use what I already have in the garage. |

I wouldnt have thought it is too expensive as it isnt too many panels. I always thought I would have bought a Tex if it was in white but now I'm not so sure. Maybe look better with a black beak and keeping the mudguard black. Have a look at Pidcocks site. I think I saw a post where it was only £300 to specify a colour.

OK, I'm lazy as hell. Will someone post a report on the Chinese suspension that comes oem on this beast. Is Ohlins going to have an aftermarket upgrade on it?

No, they are Kayaba 46mm upside down forks, 190mm travel on the front and Kayaba monoshock with remote oil reservoir, hydraulically adjustable preload, rebound damping adjustment, 194mm rear wheel travel on the rear. I know what to expect from Showa and Sachs. Kayaba is a different story.

My point is, I've not seen any reports on their (Kabaya) reliability, adjustibility and longevity and want to hear from someone who knows something about it. On this side of the pond, we call it due diligence.

Sometimes I think we go ott on the minutia of a bike - the parts and the sum of the parts. Don't remember the last time I was concerned about the suspension / lights / instrument layout of a car I was considering buying.
