How to pay it forward?

After reading the thread Nimrod is down I have a question I cannot find the answer to.

Is there and can I add my name to an email list or list in general to help fellow ADV riders who are traveling through my region. I see this as a great oppurtunity to meet some of you in person and pay it forward at the same time. I'm not looking to set up a bed and breakfast for riders, but if someone needs a place to crash, help with repairs, or a full out rescue I am willing to help out.
I'm sorry if this has been covered before, but this site is so vast and my computer skills are so lame, that all my search attempts have failed. Thanks in advance.

At least you've found this site and realize what a resourse it is for enhancing our riding experience.

I'm continously amazed when I meet riders on (and off) the road who've never heard of ADVrider ???
I had business cards printed up with my personal info and favorite websites listed for easy reference should they be in my area,
I'm also on the Tent Space List and have gotten 2 calls so far, one looking for help and one for place to stay.
