My girlfriend refers to her KL250SF as "Thumper". Therefore she's started calling my Vstrom 1000 Bambi. 'Cos Bambi is Thumper's friend.

My AX-1 is known as "You Bitch" or "Good Bitch" depending on the day.
The KTM EXC was named by my wife "Moto Skuit, skuit" - "crazy bike" in English. The DR is "Durr" Unusual for me to use those names with other people.

As in, "I rode the shit out of Your Mother today".

This isn't all of them- some of them didn't stick around long enough or have enough personality to get named.
'82 Virago 920: El Diablo (technically La Diabla is probably more correct? The bike was evil and female.) '93 Seca II: Reba '85 FJ1100: Maverick (Kept writing checks I couldn't cash) '00 KLR650: BGDPB (Big Green Dual Purpose Bike) '01 Aprilia Falco: Bettie (Page) '04 FJR1300: Bongo (From Matt Groening's Life in Hell comic strip, after a [former] girlfriend near sideswiped me and took off one mirror.) '83 Maxim 550: Zippy '06 DRZ400SM: Bart (Simpson- "IDidn'tDoItNobodySawMeDoItYouCan'tProveAnything") '12 Tiger800XC: The new hotness hasn't told me it's name yet. There's an '89 VTR250 that may be Crockett; I've never really ridden it. Wife's bikes: '98 Seca II: Pinky. (It was black... ?) '97 VFR750: Mae West (She thought it was top heavy) '06 Speed Four: Birdie Her (white) '06 Toyota Yaris is "The Egg"; the '97 Camry with 240k miles that preceded it was the POSie. |

My daily driver is named: The GS
My fun fast bike is called: The K Sorry. My dog and my three turtles have names. The machines, as much as I love them, do not.

This is Fugly (cause it was):
![]() This is Cruella (same grey color and angular looks as Cruella Deville, and it was also a pretty cruel mistress): ![]() This is Blossom (think Orange Blossom Special, it pulls like a freight train): ![]() I name my trucks and cars as well. My truck is "Pepe", the Caddy is "Daisy". Not naming a vehicle is like not naming your pet, they are a member of the family and should be addressed properly.

Not really into naming stuff, but I usually refer to my bikes as that 'piece pile over there' or 'oil leakin sob' or terms of endearment along those lines. My Italian stuff- now thats a different story. I had a two names for my Vespa P200. One was the name of my Italian girlfriend I had when I was in Italy in 1977. I kept that name to myself. My 2001 Moto Guzzi Jackal - what else but Goozfraba.

I think it's a universal fit one...maybe made by MRA? It *might* be this one. http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade...tview/934/343/ Came with the bike, though, so don't know for sure off the top of my head. Send me a PM and I'll take a look at her bike and let you know for sure tomorrow.
