How do you find the tank panniers? Do you find they interfere with your knees when seated?

Made it to Carrizozo last night. Stayed at the Rainbow. Inn. Nice clean affordable place.

Not much to the town though.

Sorry, by "how do you find" I meant "how do you like"?

The reason I ask is the Safari tank is quite wide just forward of that point, and where he has them mounted is where I normally have my knees.

OK I will back up a little.

After Carrizozo we headed out in the mountains near Ruidoso for some fun riding. It was very nice. Especially after we took 288 toward Alamogordo.

We also stopped at White Sands NM

It was more than a little warm.

We also went to the missile base 30 miles down the road. The visitor stuff was closed but Chris convinced the guard to let us walk through the "museum"

We ended the day in Deming. The Motel 6 was cheap but the WiFi did not work. A bummer since I had a lot I wanted to do and check.

I did do some laundry. Here is Chris waiting for the dryer.

We also ordered pizza. A bit of a tradition when Chris and I travel together.
