With that dent I was still able to ride 2 more days

Wouldn't be able to do that with a shattered carbon wheel.

I'll drop it off at Woody's on Monday and get them to put an A60 1.6 on it.

My buddy picked up a 990 a few weeks ago.... An overnighter to the San Juans had to be done.

Put three more in it. One across the tire on opposite side of the existing dent, and two 180* on each side of the rim. Then it should balance better.

Not mine, but Geeks.

I would say part of the problem is the TKC-80, very soft sidewall. I run the MT-21 and have avoided the problem for quite some time.

Nice ride! I used to take my plated 300exc up to that area. The ride got pretty long on that bike though....must be nice on your beast! Looks as though i may be getting a 950 soon. Wish I still lived in that area to make full use of the bike!
