Got my hack off for powdercoating this week. I sold off my old beater '90 Nissan truck, so I had to take it inside my wife's Kia Soul. The thing actually fit with no problems. I guess I can say that my Ural now has Soul. :-)

Our local BMW club has coffee every Sat. A.m. At a local StarBucks. First Nanc and I show up...

Then two more hacks show up. The insanity is spreading!

Whoohoo!

Forest Fire

I tried to take a picture yesterday of the fire burning on the south flanks of Mt. Adams just north of Trout Lake, but these two bozos with sidecars kept getting in the way!

KillaJoule +200mph electric sidecar rig

A couple more pics of KillaJoule, the electric sidecar rig built and driven by an engineering student at the University of Denver powered by over 1200 cordless drill batteries. She pushed it up over 200mph at Bonneville on August 28th.

YEAH BABY!!

2006 KLR650 w/Sputnik Sidecar

Here's my rig, 2006 KLR650 with a Sputnik sidecar. Custom subframe and connecting hardware from CSM Sidecars. Got a few hundred miles on it since getting everything sorted and adjusted. Have been on some rough rotted-out roads with the wife in the hack and it works really well.

Just put the stripes on today I ordered from a local sign shop to help "tie in" the car with the bike. I think it looks great!

And if you're interested, here's how I attached the Pelican 1500 tailcase with a system that allows easy removal/transfer of the case to another bike: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showp...&postcount=764

Here's some crustiness. I had to scan these in. These are from almost 20 years ago, wow!

My old BSA WD/M20. Believe it or not, I toured Israel on this thing then shipped it back to the US! Engine seized once. It didn't go very fast, but it sure was a tractor. When I rode into the old city of Acre/Acco and had a bunch of kids jump-in the side car for a ride. The Israel Police were not amused to say the least. I then made the mistake of riding into the wrong neighbourhood in Jerusalem on a Saturday morning. I got yelled at and rocks thrown at me for "desecrating the sabbath".

I wanted to buy this one, but somebody from NZ snatched it up if I remember correctly.

The resident BSA mechanics. Bizbiz in Tel Aviv...

I took off the sidecar once just to get a feel, that's it outside on the left. Inside Bizbiz.
