I rode my bicycle on the White Rim loop one year. I should take a motorcycle out there sometime.

I didn't want to argue so I turned around and went to steel bender. The photo of the bike on her side. She was tired. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That is too bad, although I am not sure I would want to do much riding out there solo.
It must be my over active survival instinct. That and my inability to heal overnight.. |

New Iowa Rider to this Forum
Hello all,
I'd like to introduce myself to the forum with a big howdy from Urbandale, Iowa ! I am encouraged to see so many adventure riders here in Iowa like myself. I'm 51 years old and have been riding bikes since 13, everything from dirt, dualsport, to road bikes. I presently own the following toys: (2) 2006 Honda TRX 250's 2007 Honda CRF250F 2001 Kawasaki KLX300R (licensed for dual sport) 2010 Triumph Tiger 1050 My wife wonders where we will find space for the next bike I bring back but I always reply that we could move her car out of the garage and then there would be plenty more space. I'm also a MITRA member and have attended a few rides and meetings but was hoping to meet more riders who share an interest in either off road and or dual sport and maybe this is the forum to hook up with more riders who want to go off and find some fun and adventure ! Thanks all, now I'm done and will spend a few hours surfing the many forum topics on the site. Almost like Christmas morning for me. Take care, Joe |

Hey - not all of us. It was a great ride (for a motorcycle-I can't imagine doing it on a mountain bike). Lots of single track and woods. Plus you got a decent lunch with your entry fee.
Tell the club we appreciated the effort they put into setting it up. Hope they keep doing it. |

Thanks River-Rider, I'm hoping there are some guys out there planning some rides while the weather still holds out during the fall.

Hey all, I am in some need of help if it's possible. Sunday I was out riding some gravel roads and dumped the bike on a B maintenance rd. The handlebars are a little out of alignment, and I thought the right fork was tweaked back a bit, tho it looks even as of now. I rode the bike home from Winterset where I dumped it, and other than the handlebars it showed no probs. Can anyone in the DSM area give me a hand straightening them up? Thanks for any help.

Mile marker 40 on 151. Will your truck make it that far?
