I could be up for Friday, need to do a little swapping of shifts, but sounds like a big day out, would be my first dual sport day, but definitely up for it, will know tomorrow if I'll be off...

I'm ok with either Friday OR Saturday.

If you guys are not too keen on riding all the way upto RAK, we could do the nice winding Sharjah-Kalba road, land up in Fujairah and then hit one of the nice wadis i know there for some off-road section, then do a loop around and return to Fujairah. This wont be as long as the Khasab route and we should be done by after noon.

Unfortunately, Friday is no go for me...Saturday is good to go, and very happy with the Dual purpose aspect...may have a couple of cars tag along, is that cool?

I think Saturday is good for all of us. So, saturday it will be. Let us stick to the wadi north of Masafi. forget the name but i know the wadi. Its a nice track with some farms/greenery in between and approx 6-8kms long. Not too challenging and can accomodate 4x4s (even 4x2 SUVs) too.

so, saturday it is.

Will post up route map and meet up point soon.

Ok, whoever wants to join the ride, show up at the Emarat gas station on Sharjah-Lalbagh road ( N25° 14.054 E55° 34.446 ) between 7:30-8:00 tomorrow, Saturday. We ride to Fujairah and then a short wadi north of it.

I'm thinking of either riding to jebel shams in oman, near Nizwa or else to khasab in the musandam area. Jebel shams will be nice and cold due to higher altitude and being inland (lesser humidity) but is a slightly longer ride to get to - approx 400kms.
