That's a tidy Venom.
I stared at the pic for quite a while because something seemed "wrong" about it. There are obvious later year additions or modifications, but that's stuff we would have done too back then. Then it came to me. None of us would have painted alloy mudguards, they would have been polished until they were glowing. (That's not a criticism, just a comment on a neat bike) |

and yes they shake all over the road, when you reach the 100-110 miles p/h. I change the front tire (stiffer walls) and the front springs, also set-up the forks like an RS-RT and problem solve.

Here's some pics from back in the days of cafe racers. All hard used. :)
My Venom in 1969. Dodkin tuned, always regretted selling it. [IMG] ![]() My Norton Atlas with Dunstall tank. Took me round Loch Ness in 66 minutes, but truly a horrible bike to ride (vibration). Thanks. That NorVin is a wicked-brutal looking thing.

BEAUTIFUL! Love the attention to detail.
![]() Where did you source the chrome license/tax disc holder? Red spark plug covers?

The spark plug caps are NGK LB05EMH-R, and the tax disc holder is from a World famous auction site
