2005 ktm 525 exc
I hate to do it, but I bought a 530, so this has to go.
SOLD![]() ![]() 2005 exc, with baja designs DS kit. It is plated, and has a new top end this past spring (1353 miles ago). With the top end I did a new cam, water pump, new Kibblewhite Stainless intake valves (haven't moved since), new rings, etc. 9,176 miles total. It has quite a few goodies; 3.1 gallon IMS tank, Trailtech Vector computer, HDB bar clamp, barkbusters, mirrors, and LED turn signals. BRP chain guide, scotts submount for a damper (but the damper is not included), wolfman enduro tool pouch on the rear fender, probably more that I'm forgetting... Oh DNR wheels (that have faded in the sun, but are still super strong). Aftermarket (trailtech? ) sidestand. Re-valved suspension from WR-1 suspension in Gunnison (very plush in our rocks)....Hmmm, I'll probably think of more... It has been ridden, mostly as a dirt oriented dualsport. It has scratched up plastics, etc, but mechanically it is sound and it has never let me down. I stay on top of maintenance issues because I ride alone in remote country and do not want to get stuck out there. The PO had put alot of orange anodized bling on (wheels, stator cover), and that has faded in our harsh sun. I would have gone without the anodized stuff, but oh well. Oh yeah; jd jet kit, too... fires up perfectly every time. The only thing it may need is a shock bushing? The bushing at the swingarm started squeeking on me last ride; I pulled the shock bolt and greased it, but haven't ridden it since, so it may be ok. $3500 ![]() ![]()

I have a half tread TKC 80 from the front of my vstrom if anyone needs one. Still has some life left! How's $40? That'll pay for my tire swap. I also have a pretty worn rear TKC that you can have if you want it.
