It probably means he's camping for the night and going through DV in the morning since he seems to be stopped in a RV park. At least that's what I'd do. I just check the weather and it only got to 103 in DV today. That ain't nothin and the high for tomorrow is suppose to be 107. Down right balmy.

Shoot, it's as much fun watchin him head for home as it was watching him during the CB. Almost wish I wasn't leaving on a ride myself tomorrow but I'll take my netbook so I can check on him when ever I get a chance.

It appears he's stopped at panamint springs resort. Not a bad spot at all.

early is good in DV in the heat of fall.

I blew through there once in late afternoon in october, and it was 107F in the shade and there isn't any. I was wearing black leather. as long as I went 80mpg and sucked a liter/hour through my camelback, I was OK. I made it to Lost Wages by nightfall (god, I hate that town).

His SpotWalla account shows him heading out of Death Valley East Entrance (as of 11:30am Chicago time)...

Hey Doug... you probably have no shortage of offers, but if you're heading through Denver and need a place to crash, we've got a comfy rack in our guest bedroom and cold beverages in the 'fridge

Looks like decision time on the tracker, at some point you have to go north before you can go south.

Edit;Picked the right direction!!!
