I have and was very impressed, shot 50 special then various Mag rounds and despite the lack of weight it was very well behaved. Not the impact on the hand / wrist that I was expecting special loads felt easier than .357

A friend brought this by a couple of days ago.
![]() M14 clone in 7.62x51 with a sage ebr stock. It fits in this eagle day pack. ![]() Perfect for hiking. A little slow to pull it out of the pack but everthing else makes up for it. Perfect for bear defence. |

![]() I've seen some bad ideas before, and been around people brainwashed by having firearms, but this packed-away monstrosity about takes the cake. I don't know which is more comical... the weight of it, the numbers of ways it will get hung upon trying to pull it out fast, or that it's a packed-away bear gun to begin with. |

I hope your friend only hikes in open country where he can see the griz from about a half mile. Snaps, zippers, magazine, scope covers and all that dangly shit? Christ, might as well call in an air strike, it will get there faster.
