It always looks kinda weird seeing these AR's that look more like toys than say my friend's airsoft version.

My daughter has no idea what color it is, She is blind

It does have this on the dust cover though...

Glad I stumbled across this thread...
I built 4 of these, the other two are my buddy's

The always necessary 870, best for home defense

My 7" SBR

24" coyote rifle

AK-47 I refinished

My quiet little guy (one of the most fun to shoot, sounds just like a pellet gun)

That rifle started out life as a Bushmaster Patrolman carbine 16". I put on a 24" Colt HBAR barrel, Midwest Ind handguard, A1 style stock and a Millet TRS-1 scope. I did the paint myself with some Krylon.

Here's a video of it in action from my Javelina hunt this year

The Tavor has problems with hard use, I forget what they are but soldiers in Israel are using the M-4 carbine. The only troops I saw with the Tavor were border guards.

I know nothing about the Tavor, but have opined on here before that the very idea of bullpups gives me the willies and always has. It's undoubtedly a mental disorder/phobia of mine, but the thought of a round essentially detonating just a few centimeters from my temple does not make me smile. I realize that odds of a catastrophic failure are utterly remote, in all of the 10s or thousands of rounds, probably 100s of thousands, that I've fired in my lifetime I've never experienced such a failure, nor have I even witnessed one of someone else's in decades of military and match shooting. But they do happen. I suppose if they did and the round was right in front of my nose rather than next to my noggin it could still be bad, but somehow I just feel a little safer with a conventional rifle configuration. No bullpups for this maroon.
