2006 ktm 300 xc-w
I'll make a great deal on my 2006 300 XC-W. Normally, I spend 3 hours detailing a bike before selling. I'm not enthused about spending all that time on cosmetics. The mechanics are all in excellent condition. Only 4-5 rides on a new top end and fresh suspension. I want room in my garage for the winter. If I can't get this price now, I'll detail the bike and relist it in the spring.
$2700 ADVr special for the next 30 days. A few details: Slavens revalved suspension. New GPR steering damper. Flatland skid plate. Cycra hand guards. Rekluse clutch (went thru it over the winter, looks great) Gnarly torque pipe with eline carbon fiber protector. Upgraded to VForce reeds I just had the bike out last Friday and it runs great. I won't be able to post more pictures until next week. Send a PM if you are interested in kicking the tires.

Don't make me count how many bikes are currently out there. What we really need is some basement storage area, or another shed. There's a pile of stuff out there taking up almost an entire stall.

Hey, I'm not going there. We all have our own hobbies. Paula does have hobbies in addition to motorcycles. The fiber hobby is taking up a big chunk of our living space.

Don't get me started on the steamy underworld of the fiber community. The top of the process is guys like Shearboy. It ends with piles of mechanical contraptions that take up a lot of real estate. I'm an enabler in much the same way that Paula enables my addictions.

Looking at selling
Due to some personal things, I am looking at selling my KLR650. Here are the specs on the goods
Rides well 00 with ~25K miles on it Doo is done Valves done ~ 18K miles sub bolt, t-mod are done upgraded rear shock, hand guards, and shifter Large DirtBagz Wolfman explorer tank bag Wolfman wolftail bag Upgraded rear rack custom skid plate Kenda 244's with ~30% left on the rear and 50 on the front Oil change every 3K miles Does not seem to burn oil New chain and sprockets put on around 20K Getting ~55-60 mpg commuting on 45 mph roads near Boulder Now the minuses Fork seals are dirty and leak a little No fork boots, but I have the replacements Some small drops resulting in some small dings in the gas tank and scratches on the hand gaurds Headlight mount is cracked, so I use duct tape to keep the lamp from flopping down (Remember it is a KLR) At this point, I am not clamoring to sell her, so if someone is interested, feel free to contact me. I am looking for somewhere between 2500-3K for everything listed above. Thanks, Asatrur/Devin

Even though it is a rare bike, (equivalent to the Bugatti Veyron circa 2011), and you mentioned "not clamoring to sell her",
it may be helpful to numerous the KLR650 collectors (may their names be held in honor) to know out there what price you might be seeking? Again, pardon me for even asking given the lightly populated KLR market with an abundance of buyers clamoring for the gold plated side panels, hand crafted Italian made/ Kobe bread leather seat complemented by the whale foreskin covered throttle grip. Just a thought. Quote:

Sidi Crossfire SRS boots. I boutgh these at the begining of the year. They are a few sizes too large. I need an 11 and these are 13's. My mistake. Paid $550 new, will take $350. The soles are alittle chewed up but not bad at all. Normal wear on the lower part of the boots. The upper part is nearly new as my pant legs cover them up. These are all black.
$350, in Lakewood |
