Rear Rim

Does anyone know if this DID Rear Rim on 32 holes model is for Transalp or RD04? Or both?

Dot nr. is confusing me.

RD04 is up to 1993. This rim is from 1998. It can be for Transalp, or RD07..
I konow that all AT have 32 holes?! For Transalp, I do not know..

And rd03, rd04 have gold rims. Few rd07 also. But later rd07 got gray rims.

I bought it 3 years ago when it came with a spare hub for my 18''.
I dont need it and i wasn't sure if this is for RD04, sure its not for RD07.

Maybe I should ask on transalp forum.

? Honda SLR650, NX650, Dominator ?

Hi Moskow,

rd04 had golden rims with 17x2,75. This one could belong to a Honda XL600V Transalp from 1996 up to 2000 (last year of pd06 and all pd10). They had / have 17x2,5 in silver.
Forgot 2 mention: 32 spokes are correct for transalp too.
Greetings

Marvin

Hi guy's ,
Here's the story. I need a RD04 frame for my project . Found the seller in Austria who's willing to ship it to the states, but the shipping cost is around 500 eur !!! Any suggestions what shippers to use and how possibly to cut the costs of the shipping. Any suggestions , help or contacts would be greatly appreciated .

What's your project?

The reason I ask is that there is not too much difference between the RD04 and the Transalp frame.

It seems like $500 would go a long way to weld whatever you need to the TA frame to build it into a RD04 frame....or am I missing something?

Hi Ladder,
I'm just trying to finish my never ending project of building RD04 here state side. Modified Transalp frame it's what I have right now, but getting original Rd04 frame would be more authentic . Frame itself is not expensive , but the shipping ...
Looking for suggestions.

Gpmucci ,
Your Marathon is absolutely fabulous !!!
