So a game, between possibly the 2 worst teams in the Big 10, and they're being nationally televised? Jesus H Christ!
Contracts.

Notre Dame has them too. regardless of recent success, they are the two most popular programs in the US. Suck that SEC troglodytes.

Thanks to the army I got around in my younger days.

I was pretty embarrassed by the behavior of the Florida fans after the UT game in Knoxville a couple of weeks ago. They really lived up to their reputation.
Gig em

I don't understand why you went to a community college (UT) for a Masters after having a degree from A&M?

Jurgen's non-coin picks.

Coin is a gen-u-wine Silver Half Dollar minted in 1961. I don't see a "mint stamp" on it.

1. TAMU/Arkansas
2. 'bout dem dawgs/T is for Trailer
3. LA's other team/Five Downers

Just three, relying on the mighty coin.
12 in a week where most of the kids were above average. Way to go Linzi.

I still think I'm slightly better than 50/50 since I've gone to these random strategies.

It was an army thing. Don't try to make sense of it.

Well, I went with just picking the favorites this time and got 8 right. I'm 48-50, on pure dumb luck.

When were you at Troy State? There was a pretty well known track & field coach there, Nick Costes, who competed in the '56 Olympics. He was apparantly very well-known at Troy as a coach and instructor.

His daughter, Pam, was a pretty good runner also who I met when we were both freshman at Auburn. I was older than the average freshman having done 4 years in the service. To say I was struggling in my first pre-calc/trig class would be an understatement but there were three girls on the front row who always knew the answers and Pam was one of those three. When I noticed that Pam lived in the same apartment complex, I asked her for help.

She agreed but stayed clearly she wasn't doing my homework for me. Her help was invaluable and after about a week and a half, in addition to the three girls who knew all the answers, so did K7, sitting in the back row, with his desk leaned back against the wall.

Good times.

As an electrical engeering major, I had to take a ton o' math classes and I also took a few more as electives. I was no academic star and was lucky to graduate. Instead of "Magna Cum Laude", I graduated "Lordy How Come" but I had almost a 3.0 in math. Not bad for a dumb old country boy with a little help from a friend!

Picks in. My system picked only 6 underdogs this week. Oh oh, this could be ugly. May have to go to to the coin flip like our master of ceremonies.

So, WV scores 70 points in their last game, and according to the chattering class, their QB already has the big H wrapped up, meanwhile Texas barely escapes an unranked OKST team, and Texas is favored by 7 over WV?

WTF?

Home field advantage. They are expecting all those pretty Texas girls will distract the hillbilly's from their football. Perhaps the odds makers have never seen Daisy Mae ready to go stomping?

About time to break out the mighty coin of Ag.

If someone wants to send me a Krugerrand I'd flip it instead.

Jurgen's picks--

BYU/USU
Stanford/Arizona
LSU/SEC
USC/Georgia
Okie/TT
