I must be in the minority here. I really like the looks of my current '12 GSA, and I love the looks of the new bike (except maybe the spork on the front). I'll own one in 2-3 years, once the GSA is out and they've ironed out the freshman bugs.

I think so, and I imagine you still need to lube those. Not a big deal.

No, I was talking about the transmission input splines that cause you to have to take the back of an oilhead apart to apply a dollars worth of grease.
Driveshaft splines on oilheads are easily accessible by comparison.

I wonder how long it will take Touratech or Wunderlich to start offering the new LED lights as a upgrade for the current GS. Put me on top of the order list!

I wonder why not put some kind of grills in front those big radiators. And wonder how hot would be having the headres so close to the feet?

I'm sold.
I think BMW hit this one out of the park. I must be in the minority because I think it is absolutely gorgeous! The refinement of the design details really stands out to me. They've refined the old GS without ruining it or making it a blvd queen. It looks refined but aggressive. It actually seems MORE offroad capable while being better on-road. Perfect. This is the first time I've ever thought about parting with my beloved '06 R1200GS but I've also contacted the local dealer to let them know I'm interested in one. I can't wait to see this bike in person. I've not been so excited about a new bike in years.

The euro bikes have had those turn signals for several years. You can put them on a '07+ bike. They have beeen on mine for 4 years and I have never had a problem with them.
