as usual I like to put in a Questions and Comments piece.........
Trev set off at one point to set up for a photo opportunity, I thought this meant video (because thats what Con does) So I come to the corner fairly sedately, round it a bit and do a fuel dump and burn run.........back snakeing all over the place the speedo rising faster than a DR's taco..................all good !! Probably hit about 140 or so .......judging by my limited experience....... ![]() then I see Bill parked further up and I try to stop....... ![]() ![]() Farrrrrrrrrrrrkkkkkk....bloody near full tank of juice and the bloody front end won't push down............(mostly hard pack clay with some loose gravel....mainly solid hardpack clay) it was like trying to stop one of those old American choppers you would see on those 1970's posters without a front brake........as I leaned forward the rear would lock up and snake all over the place.the boys thought it was the bike snaking under power .................shit no !!!going to get the drawing board out for that one...have a look at the clickers first.but christ the bike was setup dangerous when I bought it. As for Con and Stu giving me crap last night....Jeeze Trev......... Con would't give my eye contact for about 10 minutes when I first got there......then he blurts out .........."it was all wrong..............you did it all wrong"....WTF...........nope taking the trailer ..getting off the bike wrong .............his world was not a happy place .........(love ya Con .. As I said over on DBW.......it just feels wrong lifting your skirt and climbing down off a motobike........ ![]() Then I got home unloaded the bike and decided to ride it into the shed ............of course giving it a handfull as I gt under the carport............Lock up the rear on some leaves, .aformentiond front doesn't even grip like a roll of $2.00 sticky tape from cheap as chips.. .I am going into the shed at about 15/20 kph with a bit over a bike length to stop....Farrrrrrrrkkkkkkkk.........lucky for the non slip rubber flooring .......... ![]() It was a good day out

I think the way this is going, we could start an ADV thread called something like 'The Trials and Tribulations of Gasman'... it's never ending....
![]() And, I didn't fall off my bike.

I reckon that the very well taken photo shows both feet on one side of the bike, I'm guess that shows some sort of separation..........unless you were riding it side saddle!!

Nice report Trev & Gasman.
Although I was home on Friday, I had preparations to attend to. Definitely come along on the next one. Cheers.
