Yeah that road is always full of traffic it seems. Also...we just came across that bridge as it's a spiral in the road! linky

It'd be pretty sweet if it wasn't always full of traffic.

The Bantam Chef pics reminded me of long ago sightings and that the name seems to be franchised.

A Google search revealed one up in Bunnell, FL with a legendary fish sandwich that I need to try out.

No NCN for me

...or Jock either...he's already back out West, last I heard he was getting snowed on at the rim of the Grand Canyon....and headed to Death Valley next.

I was gonna go do some leaf peep'n today as I slept in yesterday on my first day off. But looking at the forecast while eating brunch and realizing that today might be yucky and rainy.......so Wednesday afternoon leaf peep'n it was.

Heading towards the South Mtns about 1/2 the cotton has already been picked...this field still awaits.

Business is booming in Fallston!

Climbing 181

....the Brown Mtn overlook looked worthy of a quick stop.

The color does seem to be less than vibrant this year but there's still plenty of green down low so that may change.

Then up by Grandfather Mtn the leaves have already fallen...so it's kind of in between peaks in this area, I suppose.
