Hey Lotion Boy!
Thanks for that post game report. College football up close and personal is a memorable experience. I appreciate the time you took to share. I'll be on the move early Sat. for Falcon Stadium. Kickoff vs. Navy is 0935 mountain time. Weather looks cold, windy, snowy. What is this? November? It was 80F yesterday! GO AIR FORCE!!! DESTROY NAVY!!! then, lunch! Should be a fun day in the meatspace.

Gonna miss watching the BSU Southern Miss game. Son Snow has a peewee game in Mountain Home so I will check in using the radio. ( Actually a good place to support Air Force given the proximity of the base.) First frost this am here. Next few days looks great - mid 60's and sun. Fall has arrived and a young mans thoughts turn to football, hunting (big game & waterfowl), ski waxing, fire wood and warm breasts in flannel shirts. A fine weekend to all.

for anyone who watched this game and saw the hit on Woods, answer this question.
how can Woods: 1. take a serious blow to the head, 2. get up and stumble around, 3. fall face down on the field, 4. sit out only one play, then 5. return to finish the game did he have a concussion, or was he faking it? because as far as I know, if you get hit in the head and are dizzy enough to fall face down, you got a concussion. I thought they were getting serious about this stuff. |

Wrong Alabama coach. Although Coach Saban broke his leg at Kent St, he did not play afterwards. LINK Coach Bryant played with a broken leg in a 1935 game against 10RC. LINK Roll Tide |

Lee Corso
Man I used to love watching Lee Corso and Gameday, but sad to say I think maybe it's time for him to retire. That stroke and his age seem to be taking it's toll and he's needing help from the rest of the crew these days. It's actually becoming a bit uncomfortable watching him.

I have heard that story too. But did appreciate the refresher on Bear. What a cool canine.
