After hunting a few years with a recurve i concluded, there were probably not many fat Indians back in the old days.

I only hunt with a camera(got nothing against hunting though)...haven't seen any of these in the thread...most people around here consider them better meat than deer.

I wandered around the northern desert this morning-

No coyotes anywhere (did get some pre-dawn howls back though)

Storm front with big wind blew in late morning, quickly ending the festivities- no joy

Hunted our asses off this weekend, Ajay ends up knocking this muley down this morning. Damn thing was miles from the truck, took us just under 3 hours to pack him out in pieces. Great time though, and hella good exercise, bet I walked over 20 miles in 2 days.

Yes I love it out there. He shot from the hill that's right behind his rifle barrel, it was not long maybe 200 yards, planted it right there with his .260.

See that hill way back behind him? The truck is 2 miles past that .

Looks like a truck with a small lift and some 35's or so could drive through there. I know I would of at least tried!

Would be much easier, I could work my little XT225 out through there. Alas, no motorized vehicles allowed. The truck wouldn't get there though, lots of steep hills and bottoms to get through. We packed across most of what you see here.
