Identify an engine for me?

Identify this engine for me please. I wish to scrap it cheaply on fleabay for some easy bucks. even cheaper to ya'll inmates if you nead anything out/off of it. It has no visible "trauma". I found it half buried in the middle of the desert. It has no markings other than numbers and "Made in Japan"

Oooo! I love these threads! I'm guessing a Honda. Maybe a CB 125?

Post a readable picture of the serial number. Some of us can decode them. I still say its a Honda of some sort.

Ninja 250, maybe an early one, the oil fill is further back on later ones but the cases look to be the same.

Some of those parts look very Kawasaki to me.

Utterly useless due to rust. Scrap the aluminum cases for a couple bucks. Seriously.

I think it's a Kawi, the oil filter shape
