What an awesome night to be an Orioles fan in Baltimore. I wasn't the only one to shed a tear at the bar tonight. It's been a long damn time.

Too long for us.

I'm afraid our only chance was last year...

Now we know where the NFL replacement refs went. Goddammit, that was a terrible call.

Yeah it was a bad call but that is not why we lost the game.

Bravos made way to many errors in the game and the Cardinals capitalized on them. You can not give a team that many chances to beat you. Of all the ways I thought they would lose last night, fielding errors would have been the last thing I would have imagined that would cost us the game.

Congrats to the Cardinals.

Make less than a half dozen errors in a wildcard game and you don't need any breaks.
Been a Bravos fan for thirty years. One WS and 29 years of playoff humiliation.
Fantastic regular seasons decade after decade only to fold in the playoffs.
That despite having one of the greatest, longest lasting rotations in the history of baseball.

The O's totally deserved that win. The Rangers implosion was made complete. I think only the Red Sox could have achieved a more impressive end of season collapse. And Hamilton completely let the team down. I still have tremendous respect for his talent, but I don't think his head is in baseball anymore.

That being said: Way to go Rangers! Here's to a mostly outstanding 93 win season!

No shit. The Giants hit like a buncha 10-year-olds who forgot which end of the bat to hold. They made Bronson Arroyo look like fucking Cy Young, fer chrissakes.

At least the A's looked like a Major League ball club.

I was at last nights Giant's game and for the first time...ever we left early because it got too damn ugly.

I'm hopeful that the A's can win game 3 because we have some great seats/tickets to game 4 and I just know that they'll win with us there.
