I gots a 4H dealio on Thursday.

Wish I could join in again, that pie was the stuff legends are made of.
I suggested they could expand a bit and was (rightfully) put in my place instantly. It's perfect.

It is rare, after all, that a slice of pie is actually terrible.

Bettys Pies manage it with a few of their offerings, but in general even an ordinary old mass produced pie will suffice in times of dire need, tiding one over until something truly wonderful can be obtained.

Had a little news today - progress of the new crankshafts for the Matchless!

These are the prototypes, not my actual crankshaft. Progress is good though.

I expect it'll be a lot better once I insert it into the big ends and get it spinning with some hot oil thrown on it for good measure.
