Ordered four tires and three tubes yesterday. More Shinko 244s, and some bikemaster tubes.

That rear tire has been pretty troublesome to keep aired up. I don't know if it's a problem with the valve stem or just what happens when I abuse the junk. If a new tube with the next tire doesn't make it behave better, I may get another wheel off of Fleabay and start hauling a spare with me. It'd make for good ballast too, I expect!

Tube pinched in the rim? It happened to me once and took months before it finally completely deflated. I kept putting air in it and checked it for nails and listened at the stem a zillion times first!

It's still alive, but different!

Now using the gauge cluster from a 1974 CL360, mirrors from an '81 CB900, and all the electrical and the rear fender from an '81 CM400E.

It got a good bit of rust over winter from all the salt. :( I am afraid I might have to tear it down and repaint everything again!

It's back on the chopping block next, once the 400 will pass inspection.

I got consumed by work for most of the winter, and didn't have much time for bike stuff other than riding back and forth from work. :/

But now I am laid off, so I have plenty of time again, haha.
