I know that you can get fittings to fit remote filters to car engines. A plate screws on to the filter housing in place of the filter and has fittings for feed and return pipes, the all you have to do is find somewhere to mount your filter.

There is a big space on the front left to my new skid plate. I was looking to fit a tool box there but perhaps I can place the filter...
we'll see

Thanks!

Do you know if there is any possibility to move the filter in other position?
Thanks!

The main trouble in that skidplate is that you have to remove the 2 front bolts on the upper front which are also the front engine support ... this is not a safe method and could possibly damage the thread after several removals ... better have a separate plate holding the front of the skid plate permanently attached to those 2 bolts ...

BTW good idea to move the filter ... will investigate
Cheers,
Roberto

What the hell for? Does anybody know?

I just checked his most recent posts and didn't see anything that I'd think could piss someone off...

Thanks!

Dallara

I don't like the factory oil filter location either, but I'm not willing to risk moving it. Too many additional seals, parts, and hoses that are all possible failure points.

I'd also like more info on Pluric!

A couple weeks ago we were talking about the Rumbux protective bits here and a few folks showed interest (myself included)... Just a heads up, another order is being put together if anyone is on the fence...

Good news.
I have a mail from ACD with the final skid plate specs and they decided anodized in titanium colour.
I feel a bit spolied, that was what I asked for
