Indeed a 1800C. Not a cruiser fan but this one somehow spoke to me when I saw it a the dealer. Low kms (23000), super clean, upside down forks, serious brakes, nice ergos for my 6'8'' frame, the promise of interesting performance...and the price was absurdly low. So I thought I'd give the VTX a try and worst case I'd resell it after a few rides. Well it's not going anywhere soon!!! Very impressed by everything. It really is a lot of fun to ride. My poor DR hasn't been rolled out of the garage in two months!

That's the best-lookin' color for the Gen III Z1K. One at the local dealership, I keep eye-balling. Below is a pic of my 2K8Z1K. Racetech fork internals, Mupo shock, Rizoma fat bars, and mirrors. What a hoot to ride!

1972 bmw r75/5
Out on the Blue Ridge Parkway this evening on my old /5.
![]() Going out on a limb and stating that the BMW /5 is one of the all time great motos. If not for its looks, for its functionality, simplicity, repairability, and ridablity.

No, Blue Ridge Pkway last week. Non-cooked HDR in attempts to compensate for the dreary weather / lighting.
Thanks :-)

Ok, just giving this a try. On the way back between Brownsville and Corpus I crossed this creek and decided to pull over. The sand was packed hard and no trouble riding or even to park upright. After the photo I jumped a few dunes...lugauge and all. This might also be a good place to camp.
If the pic doesnt work it's not my fault....IT'S THIS DAMN COMPUTER!!! ![]() http://www.flickr.com/photos/8235525...in/photostream |

Well, maybe the computer is trying. So i pushed the "Insert Image" button and pasted the link inside but as you can see it only shows a white box with a red X inside. What gives?

So it should have a .jpg, .gif, .png or some such suffix at the end. |

flikr is picky about which images can be embedded in other sites.
your image here, http://www.flickr.com/photos/8235525...in/photostream seems to be protected, too.
