The Australian airline? I always thought it was spelled with a U after the Q. Who knew?

Mate,is an affliction I have had my whole life, and I could handle a brake in the attempts to embarrass me over it.
Funny to you but its limited my ability to make a living.Maybe you might notice I am JUST a bit sensitive about it.Take the HINT.There is probably thousands of lurkers with something to say but need to duck the FRIENDLY humiliation.II do have a spell checker but sometimes I miss the obvious to you but not me errors. Why do you think your average GP has bad handwriting, there technical vocabulary I bet exceeds most of there spell check ability.Been copping this for more than 50 years and its very very old to me.Pretty sure its called Dyslexia, lucky me. |

Sorry Vince, I didn't mean to belittle you and didn't know you'd been harassed before, thought we'd had enough beers together at BSFOS for that to not be an issue. I'll crawl back in my box.... Cheers

My Morini
I figured I have to make an initial post somewhere... might as well be on this thread.
This is my 2010 Moto Morini Scrambler 1200. (along with my 2010 Triumph Thunderbird 1700) ![]() ![]() The Morini is customized with a few things, like the peg subframe from the Granpasso, Ohlins shock, custom paint, all the off-road bits (light grill, sump guard) tank and tail bags and Termignoni exhaust. It also came with a second fuel tank and body side moldings, so I plan to get them painted up to have a second set of 'clothes' for the bike. I've coveted the scrambler since I saw it online years ago but being from the states I had no chance to get one. I live in Germany now and had this one come available and I bought it without ever having seen one if the flesh.... I've very glad I did. It's a brilliant bike and a perfect complement to my tbird. |

Thanks guys. I wanted one of these bikes for a long while and of course wasn't able to get one in the states. I have been casually looking here for a while and stumbled onto this one for sale in Italy that had all the options I was interested in and at a price that was well below anything I was finding in Germany. So, after a few days of negotiation and organization I hit the road for a blast down to Italy with my son to pick it up. I'd never even ridden a scrambler up to that point, but did a quick spin on the bike to make sure it was up to the standard advertised (essentially perfect) and it was and took it off his hands.
Since then I've gotten quite a bit of time on it and these Morinis are fantastic bikes. Even with the knobby tires it just drops into corners, handles very well (though in deeper leans the tires do get a bit squirrely) and has great power all the way through the range. Swapping from the tbird to the scrambler is a big change and I have to consciously ride them very differently as it doesn't take much to get that front wheel floating around in the air, especially after just getting off the bird. That just tells me it's a great compliment bike. I never understood guys that own 2 or 3 (or more) of the same, or essentially the same bikes. Different is good. |
