Anyone else surprised by the line in the USCe at LSU line? LSU favored, really? I don't see it...

Mettenberger is a dead man walking...If it were possible, I think LSU could score negative points against USC...

Beano Cook died. How sad.
It's a 2 1/2 to 4 point pick for the home team. Not really breaking balls. LSU you a for real defense & home field. USC historically sucks on the road & haven't played a defense yet. |

I could see that, and it's usually true as is what Native said about who shows up. However, they've only played one decent team this year (and although UF is much improved from the cluster fuck season last year I only think they're decent now) and lost and nearly lost to a terrible Auburn team. I know Death Valley is a tough venue, but after watching Mettenberger last weekend I don't see any way they move the ball. Unless they get a couple of pick sixes, they're toast...I'm obviously pulling for LSU. I can understand to a point setting the line there initially, but I would have expected the line to have moved by now as people jumped on USCe...crazy...

It's beyond tough. I'm curious when they last lost a night game in Death Valley? Anybody know? I'm sure it's been years.

I know UF won there in '09. That was the game after the bye when Tebow got the concussion. I don't know after that. I'll check on Google...

Hmmmmm......
Wisconsin AD Alvarez advocates 'super league'
excerpt: “I’d like to see a super league,’’ Alvarez told the Mobile (Ala.) Press-Register. “I’d like to see a league — Southeastern Conference, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-10 — and have your own rules. Have rules that you know what the hell they are and that you could actually follow them, and let them have it. We’ve got a lot of rules. There’re a lot of haves and have-nots, and you’re making rules to make the have-nots happy. “Let the guys who can afford it go do — the guys that are filling those big stadiums, the leagues that have the big TV contracts — let them go. That’s nothing against those other guys. But you can’t let that group hold the entire group back.’’ http://m.journalstandard.com/freepor...tguid=L6OsBSO9 |
