That last picture screams wide open and let the dust land where it may.

Many of the roads did just that, but the fact that we were a long way from home, tempered our giddy up. We all had our moments though.

More panoramas from Bill:

Oh man, you're making me miss this trip more and more all the time.

I've got to keep reminding myself how fortunate I am, because a part of me wants to leave all this behind, hop on the bike and head back west with no return planned.

Good point, maybe I'll put that dream on hold for now. I'm freezing here in VA this morning and it's only early October.

Jack, What camera was Bill using? I like the photos. I know it is not Jack proof but it seems to have held up pretty good.

It is a Cannon point and shoot, I have pinged him for the exact model. He also uses a mac for processing the panoramas. I'll let you know.

Thanks for stopping by Signal. I have been lurking/enjoying your thread for a long time.
Priceless, indeed!! We had a blast and basically the same expectations. These guys are the best, and I would travel anywhere with them

I really hate that for you lakota! In a BIG way.

There were several times that I thought of you during the ride after your incident. The extra caution I took PAID OFF BIGTIME.

At least i get to pay you back for all the times I rode vicariously through your reports.

Are you considering another attempt? I hope you are!!
