I have a Speed Triple 1050, but I've done more sport riding and track days on my KTM 525 EXC supermoto. And ironically, I've been riding my Tiger 800XC in the dirt a lot more than the KTM. I suppose to round things out, I should start adventure touring in the Speed T.

Hookers!

I'll kill myself on a street bike! I want one so bad. But I know I'll go fast, and there's no race track anywhere near

Definitely not a sport bike, more like a sport-touring / standard:

CBF1000

WR250R

P.S. - I didn't respond to the poll because I found the choices confusing. I can be dense sometimes.

I have an 05 ZX6-RR and an 06 R1. Love riding both of the bikes, but I tend to get performance awards when on them and the aggressive seating position wreaks havoc on my back after an hour or so. My KLR sees most of the miles these days on account of being able to go (almost) everywhere sitting/standing straight and is relatively self-governing on the speed front.

DRZ400 & VFR800 here. Despite many people claiming that the DRZ is competent on the highway, there is no comparison between the two.

I have had them both out of thier element before and lived to tell about it, but there is obvious bike bias there. The drz is awful above 60mph, and the VFR is awful on dirt/gravel, sometimes you gotta make do!

Thumb

Its awesome to see so many other guys that need their "street" fix like me. I figured everybody here used their thumpers for everything.....not that thats bad, but nothing beats a good street or sportbike when you really want to peel the pavement, or take the wife on a long ride. We even have an actual racer in the group

Me, I've gotten a little carried away on the power end of the sportbike spectrum, I ride a 270rwhp turocharged zx14, a modded hayabusa, and a lowered and stretched, chromed and modded 92 gsxr-1100.
I love the rush of massive acceleration.....in fact I think I might go out for a quick spin on the 14 and scare myself sh*tless...which is what I usually do on that bike

It's fun to mess around on fire roads with the S3!

I have always tried to have a sport bike and/or sport tourer keeping the dual sports company in the garage. I just got rid of a KLR650, aprilia RSV-R, and Ducati ST3 for my two current BMWs.
