Another Utah Backcountry Discovery Rider Solo UTBDR
It's been a couple of weeks now so I thought I'd post up some pictures of my solo trip to Utah. I rode the UTBDR from north to south ending up at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. I was on my '09 Wee-Strom; and starting on St. Louis, made a loop across northern Missouri, southern Nebraska, northern Colorado through Rocky Mountain National Park, then on to southwest Wyoming through the Flaming Gorge, over to the Idaho/Utah border were I began the trip south on the UTBDR. I’ll post a few pics here and if anyone wants I have over 600 pics and some videos on Photobucket. I’m not sure if I should post the link here so if you’re interested in seeing more just PM me. I will follow up a little later with some more pics. Disclaimer: As you can see, I am not a professional photographer.

I was the only camper there. I got stuck in sand up to my rear axle, and had to dig my way out. ![]() ![]() Flaming Gorge I do believe.

In spite of your disclaimer, you have some great pictures there. I recognize the location of most of them, but when you get time, give us more detail.

A few more from UTBDR
![]() Not 100% sure but getting closer to UTBDR ![]() The aspens looked like they were on fire just after a brief shower and with the wind making the leaves flutter. ![]() Great camping but I was a little concerned about bears as there was bear $hit everywhere. Never did see one though ![]() ![]() Again the aspens were at their peak and with just a little rain it really made them pop. ![]() At the start of the UTBDR ![]() ![]() ![]() I think I know these 4 guys ![]() Valley of the Gods. No words do it justice... ![]() Valley of the Gods and some old guy I do not recognize.

Is this near Kremmling, CO? I remember the gap in the mountains from my CDT trip this summer.

I wouldn't bet money on it but I'm thinking Flaming Gorge. Yes I was there, but stupid old brain has recall issues.
